When teenagers are asked about raya celebration, words that come to mind will definitely be DUIT RAYA. Raya cannot be completed without receiving and calculating duit raya. Such a good thing, when we reminisce about our childhood memories of collecting and comparing whose duit raya is the highest but upon entering the age of seventeen, I rarely get duit raya anymore, which I found quite saddening.  This year though, raya celebration was especially dull and sad because I lost my grandmother few months back. Due to her old age, grandma was always sick ever since I remember. Last year of raya celebration, her health was getting worse causing her to be warded and bedridden. On 24 of April this year, at the of 89, she left us.
